Facebook
has become so ingrained into our culture, it is sometimes difficult to realize
just how many aspects of our lives it touches.
The
following illustrations are by Pawel Kuczynski, a Polish
satirical illustrator who has won more than 100 prizes and distinctions for his
work.
Facebook has changed...
How we voice our religious beliefs.
How we learn about what's going on in the world.
How we pick our friends.
How we work, travel and experience other cultures.
How we find our way in a sea of people.
How we lose our privacy.
How we find sustenance.
Facebook
and other social media platforms have added another aspect to modern living,
forever altering other aspects of life. From finding friends to absorbing news,
Facebook will always be the linking factor much like the television or radio
once was a uniting force among the American people.
Do
you think social media platforms like Facebook have too much influence on
today's society?
Pawel
Kuczynski's work can be found here.
